(사)한국포장학회(회장 이명훈)는 지난 5월 23일 일산 킨텍스 ‘KOREA PACK 2012’ 전시장의 세미나실에서 ‘2012년 식품포장기술 국제심포지엄’을 개최했다.


심포지엄은 (사)한국포장학회 이명훈 회장의 인사말로 시작해, △NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre의 Michael Nieuwesteeg Managing Director의 ‘Technical Application Trend of Environment Conscious Packaging for Processed Food’, △김수일 PKG R&D 연구소 김수일 대표의 ‘Globalization Strategy of Packaging in Traditional Food’, △Sealed Air Northeastern Asia의 Li Xin 부사장의 ‘Creating Sustainable Value with Packaging Solutions’, △Michigan State University의 김종경 PhD Candidate의 ‘Research Trend and Prospect of Supply Chain Management in Food Packaging’, Member of Intellectual Property Center인 Toyo Seikan의 Manabu Watanabe의 ‘New technology and Application Case Study in Coffee Packaging’, Sealed Air Korea의 안충권 Assistant Director의 ‘Technical Trend of BioSmart Packaging and Case study of Commercialization’ 등이 발표되었다.

많은 참가자들이 “이번 심포지엄이 국제적인 식품패키징기술에 대한 의견을 나누고 다양한 정보를 교류할 수 있는 시간”이었다고 평했다.
